JFK Jr’s $100,000 Saab

JFK Jr’s 1994 Saab 900 SE is up for auction with a price of $100,000. You would have thought an heir to the Kennedy throne wouldn’t drive the same vehicle as Jerry did during Seinfeld. But he did, and according to the vehicle’s Carfax, it was involved in an accident in New York sometime during 1996.

As JFK Jr.’s daily vehicle at the time of his 1999 death, the three-door Saab is, as the eBay auction tells us, “as John F. Kennedy Jr. left it.” Although, source LeftLaneNews points out several inconsistencies with the Saab and this auction:

The 900 is shown with below average condition for a car with only 30,500 miles on it. Rust is visible behind one rear wheel arch, as well as below the fuel tank door.

LLN adds, “The 900 also comes delivered on snow tires, which seems odd considering JFK Jr. died in July of 1999 when his plane crashed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard.”

Kelley Blue Book suggests average retail value of a low mileage Saab 900 at under $4,000. But eBay seller plat580 has set the starting price at $100,000. Good luck buddy.
