Saab 9-3 To Challenge Audi A3
Word is out that the plans GM had for the next generation of the Saab 9-3 have been scrapped in favor of a smaller version. The new next generation 9-3 will be based on what GM calls its “Global Premium Product”.
This vehicle platform will better meet new and stricter environmental guidelines in the U.S. and Europe, and its smaller size will position it to compete with other recent luxury small cars like the Audi A3.
