Saab’s Movie Summer – GI Joe & Transformers 2
Saab is making big waves during summer films, including appearances by the Aero X concept in GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Transformers 2. Well, those are the rumors anyway, as we have yet to find any Saab Aero spy shots from either movie set.
The Aero-X is suppose to serve as Wheeljack’s alternate mode. The rationale is that Generation 1 Wheeljack’s vehicle features a wraparound windshield, and comes in the color white, which is the color that the Aero-X was revealed in. It’s a great way for Saab to come back into the public eye, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen features more than just Chevy rides. Audi cars are also making an appearance in the film. Of course, Saab is still a GM product, for now. Hummers will be featured along with this supposed upgraded Saab Aero-X in GI Joe, coming out August 7th. Guess we will have to stay tuned for the films’ releases to find out.
